When you use Votype, we collect the minimum information necessary to provide our service:

• Account Information: Email address, name, and profile picture from your OAuth provider (Google or GitHub).
• Payment Information: Processed securely by Stripe. We never store your credit card details.
• Usage Data: Aggregate word counts and session counts to enforce plan limits. We do not store transcription content.

2. Voice Data

Votype processes your voice data for speech recognition. We do not store, log, or retain any voice recordings or transcription results on our servers. Voice data is processed in real-time and immediately discarded.

3. Local Storage

Transcription history, personal dictionaries, and preferences are stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export it.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Speech Recognition Providers: For converting voice to text. Audio data is transmitted securely and not retained by providers.
• Stripe: For payment processing.
• Cloudflare: For hosting and security.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and secure authentication (OAuth 2.0).

6. Your Rights

You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Local data can be deleted directly from the application.
